Malone Sibun Band

Two musical legends, the American Marcus Malone, guitarist and vocalist with a touch of Paul Rodgers, Otis Redding and David Coverdale, and the Englishman Innes Sibun, exceptional guitarist, with service in Robert Plant’s band, joined their talent and forces for a unique Blues Rock concept! Along with Kevin Jefferies (bass) and Chris Nugent (drums) they are the supergroup Malone Sibun Band.
Transilvania Blues brought them back to Brașov, with an incendiary show presenting their first album, Come Together, exactly on the release date, exclusively in Romania, on January 31, 2020 at Rockstadt!

Sean Chambers – Postponed

American virtuoso guitarist Sean Chambers is coming to Romania for the first time! Sean is originally from Florida, where he still lives today, and where he was inducted into the Florida Music Hall of Fame! His role models in forming his unique guitar style and signature were Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He has released seven albums, from 1988 until now, the most recent being “Welcome To My Blues” in 2018. Sean Chambers has performed over time with legendary names such as Derek Trucks, Gregg Allman, Jeff Healey, Leslie West, Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Kim Wilson, Walter Trout, Koko Taylor, Ike Turner and Robert Cray.

 

Chris Bergson & Ellis Hooks – Cancelled event

Transilvania Blues Nights would have had the honor to present Chris Bergson, included in the New York Blues Hall of Fame, for the first time and exclusively in Romania in Brașov at Rockstadt! Alongside him, vocalist Ellis Hooks, a soulful voice of the highest order. The partnership between virtuoso New York guitarist Chris Bergson and vocalist Ellis Hooks, originally from Alabama, is a recent one, since 2017 they started performing together and released the album Bitter Midnight, considered by the specialist magazine Mojo as one of the top three blues albums of the year.
